Canceled my reservation at 8pm a few hours before I arrived. I had called and reserved a single bed. After I got the email cancellation I called and the rude lady on the phone claimed they had no singles left, but I could have a double for $30 more. When I asked if I could have the double for the same price since I had a reservation and it was late, she hung up on me. Last time I will stay st a Comfort Suites.
We were in town for a wedding. The staff at the hotel was accommodating for our every need. We were a large party, but they took really good careason of us. Everyone was so nice! The rooms were clean and good sized
I was told that booking a Government Rate limited my ability to be moved from a room that was not up to par to one that was. The bathroom was half functional and the excuse they used was that it had to be handicapped accessible. I complained and they told me they could not move me because of the type of rate I booked. A detachable shower head that could not be secured anywhere is a hazard when the water is on and the shower head is uncontrollable due to the pressure that's coming through. Water went everywhere. I will never stay here again. The manager was unprofessional and attempted to have a desk clerk pose as a manager in an attempt to avoid my issue. I asked for the number to corporate and he told me to find it myself and get off of the property. I will never patronize this establishment again.
I would like to know how anyone can run a business with NO BACK-UP for a system failure. I arrived at 1am, a day before my scheduled reservation for an early morning meeting. Calling earlier to verify availability, I knew I could book a room. Understanding I was paying full price, it would have been convenient considering a current next day reservation. I was informed by the front desk staff the system has been down since 11pm. Had I arrived for my scheduled reservation, checking in still would not be an option. My business is computerized, I have several back-up options in the inevitable event the system fails. This is an extremely unnecessary inconvenience, and totally unacceptable as a professional business I have patronized many times in the past with minor challenges as with any business.
My family and I were very comfortable at this hotel. The staff has been pleasant and helpful. I can recommend this hotel.
