I am in the process of disputing the escalated price I was charged for a monthly car rental. I was given a old Cherokee Patriot with an expired license plate that wreaked of marijuana upon receipt of the vehicle . I paid $1400 debit upon rental agreement there was no mention of insurance. While receiving my keys it was suggested that I try Enterprise insurance for two weeks and I could remove it at any time if I chose to, so I tried the insurance. I decided to keep the insurance to be on safe side. I received a call from Brian the store manager a week before the rental was due back demanding a payment the car or he was calling the police. They said I had an outstanding balance it didn't matter that my rental contract wasn't over they wanted money now. I spoke to Brian's manager whom gave me three additional days to come up with a bundle of cash. I paid what I could on the bill and begged to be allowed to pay the breast at the end of the contract as I was planning to do per conversation upon renting the car. Nonetheless, I was put out of my rental early and no price adjustment was made. I was bullied out of their rental car and charged as if I had the car full contract. To make matters worse I went to a competitors establishment and rented a car the next day for a fraction of what I was charged at Enterprise. I was sick of the stomach at my experience at Enterprise. This was my first rental experience so I took everything they said in the beginning at face value. These people are not to be trusted. They are corporate mobsters literally stealing money from unsuspecting customers and are arrogant and insulting towards those that challenge their unethical business practices. I was charged $2100 total for a 26 day rental. They say I owe them $470. I am disputing this they owe me if anything. I have a brand new SUV rental at present that is costing me $900 for the month with insurance. I am truly disgusted at the way I was literally ripped off by this company.
I always enjoy my rental experience with Enterprise. The Harvey, LA location is staffed with great individuals and they are always pleasant and helpful. The manager Bryan Wilson is always busy, but he is never to busy to at least acknowledge me and thank me for my business. I will be back!!
I needed a rental car and the staff made this a very efficient and painless experience. On the day I picked the vehicle up the agent was courteous and professional and I found the same to be true when I returned the rental to this location. The location was slow on the Wednesday morning that I was there to pick up my vehicle but be advised that it was very busy Monday afternoon for the return. The high volume of traffic might be due to Thanksgiving or other weekend events in NOLA but if this is the norm come earlier if possible; I was there about 4 p.m. and there was definitely a line. Nevertheless, the staff was very professional and moved us along as quickly as possible but probably could have benefited from an extra agent. Overall, great experience and would use this location again for my rental needs.
If I every needed a rental car I would use them. They pick me up, provide me with excellent service as first time customer. They big huge KUDOS from me.....;-)
The customer service was superb. I was welcomed with a smile and great energy. This is by far the best car rental location that Enterprise owns. The people in this building really care about doing the job correctly as well as making sure your experience is one to remember.
