My name is Carlos Jerez Ramirez and I’m a concern parent regarding the bus schedule for pick for my son Carlos Jerez Orellana at Circle West Mobile Home. Today for example he waited for the bus to arrive at the schedule location and time but the bus never show up, I was at work when he call me and several students were waiting for the bus. I think is very unprofessional and not safe for the kids to be waiting for a bus that does not show on time or it never shows at all.

ps. today again no bus, also no notice at all, and when you call you only get voice mail and nobody returns your call. Great system Jefferson parish transportation.
The employees at one school in particular , Helen Cox high school very rude , front office is Christa she is crazy & very unprofessional! After not getting a response & voicemail messages stating that its all full & i cannot leave a message since the beginning of 2017/18 school year I finally got this Christa character on the phone. She is very inprofessional refused to send me to the correct person i requested to speak to. Eventually i asked for the school board number & met with further resistance & unprofessional blabbering & then she hung up. Where do they get these people really honestly?
This is not the 1st time that this has happen, in past week/days they have change their schedule pick up location and time vary so much that my son is confuse and does not understand why he has to be waiting unsure if the school bus will pick them up at the current location or if the bus was change.
Rude ! And very unprofessional. It makes me sad to see the people in charge of the school system being so RUDE and ARROGANT ! If I had a minus I would put it in here .
The bus driver is rude, has left my child at school and he is special Ed. Nobody knows what's going on within their own system. I've gotten the run around so many times it's mind blowing. This parish needs to get it together. They also let certain children violate the no cell phone policy. Horrible bus, and schools. And don't ask or complain to the school board it will fall on deaf ears. Can't wait to move to Orleans Parish. This Parish needs too many improvements to list. Simply put...you people are very unprofessional and should not be in education.
Pittman elementary is horrible my kid has been bullied more than once and i contacted the school more than once i gad to take matters in my own hand its been over a week and i still never got a call back from the principal. Now its happening to my nephew well they will remember us today!
We understand that may be delay on traffic, but is the bus is not going to be on time or changes are going to be made regarding location and time to please notify the parents. It will be very hard for son to walk over 3.7 miles to reach school and make it in the morning, I have to work to support my family and I leave home very early is nearly impossible for me to drop off my son to school daily. I depend and rely on the school bus for my son to be taken to school on time before the bell rings, if I’m not at home to take him to school he won’t be able to attend school and I need to make sure I have other means of transportation for him to go to school. Please let me know if they are going to be any future changes or delays on the bus schedule by email, text, call or mail.
