This is a systemic problem with Waffle House and I'll never be back.
There were four of us. It was pretty busy when we walked in as all the tables were taken so we sat at the bar. But there were 7 employees on the floor.
Such weirdness. I flat out told our server that my friends left zero tip because if the service. I left a small tip and told her the reason why.
I ordered a waffle and didn't get it. So I had to ask that be taken off our bill too.
Terrible. Ask for runner scramble. Don't even beat. Drop in frying pan n stir. The only thing good was grits.
The food was awful. Grits was cold so it was one big blob, my friend ordered a salad which he wanted first but got last ONLY after our server was reminded. And we watched her as she picked through the lettuce bag picking the bad lettuce out into the garbage, but in truth all the lettuce was bad. So I asked it be take off our bill. The server probably didn't realize the lettuce was that bad because they were busy talking to a co-worker.
As a topper the cook sat down and was writing our food tickets out using g a calculator to add things up. So when I asked for things to be taken off he had to go back and recalculate.
Enjoy the service, waitress was right on point and respectful. Really enjoy will visit with friends again
Food was on our table in no time, everything delicius, staff always very nice, prices are good, we have a wonderful time at Manhattan Waffle House ♡
After 3/4 of our order came out and after 2 reminders she came back to us and said the orange juice was almost gone, it wasn't good and she hadn't had time to make any more. So she asked what else what we wanted to drink...This is all after a table
If your not wearing a maxi dress with your nips showing are you even dressed for this fine establishment? Ya don't come for the cleanliness but more for the delicious greasy heart attack of a meal you will slide down your gullet. Drunk or sober if you don't leave this place in a good mood you probably aren't worthy of another trip back.
Everything was awful.
After awhile our order was taken. Our server (I'm not including the persons name as everyone who works there serves begrudgingly) had no clue what she was doing. Our order came out in about 8 different waves, little by little, and we had to remind her of half our order.
