Professional and reasonable prices. I felt with them 4 times so far
I bought a blazer valued at $150.00, for a Christmas party I had attended on December 15, 2016. On December 16, 2016, I brought my blazer to New Cleaners, to rid it from the smell of cigarette smoke. Upon pick-up, on January 3, 2017, I inspected my article prior to payment and noticed it had been ruined. The blazer was originally a solid beige color. Now, it has a white collar and several bleach spots along the front-side. When I confronted the sales clerk, he refused to take any responsibility. He said, "It's the manufacturer's fault, your jacket is poor quality, and our company doesn't use bleach." He refused to give me the manager's name and telephone number, then he called the police on me. I was humiliated, and I felt violated. New Cleaners has damaged my clothes and treated me like a criminal. Then, I had to pay $9.44, the subtotal of my bill. I believe that the community of Jefferson Parish should be made aware of the dishonesty and por actions, made by New Cleaners and it's staff. We should not support businesses with such poor ethics!
